Baptisms
When a baby is born, there is much cause for celebration and thankfulness to God. For many people Baptism is an important part of those celebrations as it gives us the opportunity to publicly express our faith and to bring our children into the family of God.
Equally, Baptism is an important event in the life of the Church as it enables us as a congregation to welcome you, to share in the gift of new life and to celebrate God’s gifts of life and love in our midst.
In the case of infant Baptism, the Church asks that at least one parent or other close family member is a member of the Church or willing to become a member. Older children and Adults are also welcome to come for baptism.
If you are thinking about having your child baptised please contact the Session Clerk by e-mail cj.munro@btinternet.com or Tel: 01241 874133

Funerals and Bereavement
The death of someone you love is a difficult time, even if their death is not unexpected. How we choose to say goodbye is an important part of the closing days of our relationships with our loved ones and involves making decisions and choices.
The Church along with the Funeral Director of your choice is here to help you.
You can contact the minister directly (or through the undertaker) if you would like them to conduct the funeral service. Once contacted the minister will arrange to meet with you and other members of your family to discuss and plan the service.
As the Church of Scotland is a national church, you do not need to be a member for the Minister to lead the service.
