Stewardship News February 2012
The members of the Stewardship Group would like to thank all members who responded to this years “Pledge Campaign”. If you have not returned your form it can still be handed into the Church Office or on a Sunday in the collection plate.
The pledge campaign gives the Stewardship Group an indication of our income for the year and helps us to budget for the day to day running of our church and halls.
Last November we held a “Gift Day” lunch which was a huge success and we would like to thank all members who contributed most generously. The magnificent sum of £5015.00 was raised.
This year’s Office Bearers’ Coffee Morning will be held on Saturday 21st April 2012. Donations for the stalls - Bric-a-Brac, Cake and Candy, Silent Auction, Parcel Stall and Craft Stall – can be handed into the church office or given to any office bearer. Tickets will be available from any office bearer or at the door on the day, priced £1.00

Stewardship News December 2011
The Stewardship Group would like to bring to your attention the following:
The Pledge Campaign 2012
There will be a Pledge Campaign for 2012. The campaign gives an indication as to what the income is likely to be and so enables the group to plan the expenditure for the year. Church members will receive notification of the campaign during October 2011.
Gift Day
Unfortunately, this year the church will again register a deficit. In an effort to minimise this, the Stewardship Group are planning a Gift Day to be held on Saturday 19th November 2011 in the Church Hall from 12 noon to 2pm. This will take the form of a ‘Soup and Sandwich Lunch’. More details will be available soon.
Church Calendar 2012
The new Church Calendar is now available from
- the Church Office
- the Tuesday Coffee Morning
- from Harry Whitton before and after the service
Unlike many items, the price of the calendar remains unchanged at £5.
The Stewardship Group asks that you keep their efforts prayerfully in mind.
