Girls’ Brigade is a worldwide Christian organisation for girls and young women that
is committed to offering girls a safe, secure environment where they are supervised by adult leaders who work within a Christian framework. Each girl is encouraged to participate in a wide variety of age appropriate activities with a view to enhancing their personal and social development at their own pace. It is our belief that every girl has talents to share and skills to develop and that we can provide many opportunities for this. We are committed to offering older members the opportunity to undertake leadership training and service to others is key to what we do in all age groups.
The 2nd Arbroath Company of the Girls’ Brigade is based here at the Old & Abbey Church and meets on Thursday evenings under the leadership of Lieutenant Valerie Bothwell and her team. New members are always welcome – contact the Church Office 01241 877068 for appropriate times.
